On Wednesday June 22 at 10:30am, Kassie Carley, Laser Technology, Inc’s Solutions Product Manager, will provide tips on how to improve grant writing so industry professionals can obtain additional funding. For years, LTI has been driven to deliver efficient measurement tools and software for field work and now has the opportunity to provide insight on grant and funding opportunities that can offset the cost of doing business. The first product LTI designed in the forestry industry was for the USFS and their need for a more efficient way to measure tree heights and upper stem diameters. LTI’s CEO, David Williams, and Bill Carr, retired from the USFS, stepped up to the challenge. From this forestry need, the LTI Criterion® 400 was born, and made forestry field work safer and more efficient than ever.
As LTI celebrates its 30th year in business, it remains a dominating force in the forestry industry. The evolution of the Criterion brought about the Impulse, the Criterion RD 1000, the TruPulse and accompanying software solutions like MapSmart, Log Deck and LaserGIS.
